However, mineral oil can break down over time and lose its effectiveness, and can also form sludge and deposits that can clog the system and reduce efficiency. Alkylbenzene oil is a synthetic oil that is commonly used in large commercial refrigeration systems. It has a high solubility with refrigerants, which means that it can mix easily with the refrigerant and circulate through the system efficiently. It also has good chemical stability and can resist breaking down under high temperatures. Polyolester oil is another synthetic oil that is commonly used in refrigeration systems. It is highly resistant to breaking down under high temperatures and is also highly miscible with refrigerants, making it ideal for use in refrigeration systems that use HFC refrigerants. However, it can be quite expensive compared to other types of Refrigeration Oil. Polyalkylene glycol oil is a synthetic oil that is commonly used in refrigeration systems that operate at high temperatures, such as those used in industrial processes. It has excellent thermal stability, high lubricity, and is resistant to breaking down under high temperatures. However, it is not suitable for use with some types of refrigerants, and it can also be quite expensive.
